I have a few Baby's 1st Christmas cards to do this week so I thought I better make a start.
Today's digi image is from Mo Manning and I thought it looked so cute for a Baby's 1st Christmas card and could easily be used for a boy or girl. Image was coloured with my Promarkers, I used backing paper from my stash, some glitter card from DCWV and some glittered snowflakes with Card Candy. A bit of ribbon and a sentiment finishes it off.
I have entered it into a few challenges this week too.
Our good friends recently became Grandparents for the first time a few weeks ago, so I thought I would make them a card today.
The image is from an old rubber stamp I have had in my stash for years and I think this is the first time I have ever used it! Coloured in with my promarkers and mounted onto a Nesties cut circle which has been dry embossed. I used backing papers from my stash, shimmer card from DCWV and one of my lovely Martha Stewart punches. A sentiment, card candy and ribbon finish it off.
I have entered it into the following challenges too: Paper Sundaes - punches, ribbon, embossing and blue
Well it has been months since I last blogged, how bad is that! I have problems uploading my photos as my computer needs replacing, but I will try to keep up with my blog in future!
Today I had a rest from making Xmas cards, and made a card for my little niece Mollie who will be 2 in December. I need to be organised with her card as I have to post it to Holland where she lives.
I rubber stamped my lovely image with memento and coloured with my promarkers. Backing papers are K&Co, some lilac and white organza ribbon, a bit of card candy and a sentiment. I love my card candy, I think I am becoming addicted to it!
I live in Scotland with my husband, two teenage children, my adorable Cocker Spaniel and two young tabby cats.
I love card making, scrapbooking and ATC's, and enjoy taking part in lots of swaps on my favourite craft forums.
In creating this blog I hope to take part in lots of challenges, and be inspired in my cardmaking.
