Baby Boy card

Our good friends recently became Grandparents for the first time a few weeks ago, so I thought I would make them a card today.

The image is from an old rubber stamp I have had in my stash for years and I think this is the first time I have ever used it! Coloured in with my promarkers and mounted onto a Nesties cut circle which has been dry embossed. I used backing papers from my stash, shimmer card from DCWV and one of my lovely Martha Stewart punches. A sentiment, card candy and ribbon finish it off.

I have entered it into the following challenges too:

Paper Sundaes
- punches, ribbon, embossing and blue

The Pink Elephant - sketch

Fairytale Challenge - Anything goes

Hope you like it, and please leave a comment so that I can pop over to your blog too

  2. Perfect card for new grandparents! Love the border punch! Don't you just love when you are able to use something you've had for quite awhile and don't use often. I think I need to work harder at it. Thanks for joining us at Paper Sundaes this week :)
