Lets Celebrate!

I have a few birthdays coming up, so wanted to get ahead with my cards, hate leaving everything until the last minute!

I actually started my card at craft class last night using paper from a pad from SU in a soft mossy green. I didn't really know where I was going with it until I looked at it fresh again today. I decided to use one of my favourite LOV stamps, stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa and coloured in using my Promarkers.

The sentiment is from a stamp in my stash, and then punched out using the oval and then scalloped punches again from SU.

Flowers as always from wildorchidcrafts and gems are Do-crafts I think.

My new craft room

Thought you might like to see some pictures of my new craft room.

As I have outgrown the Dining Room and didn't have a spare bedroom I have decided to convert the conservatory. Chucked out all the furniture and bought some new bits. The Expedit for Ikea was recommended by a crafty friend and I have to say its excellent. Can fit loads of stuff in and great for all your 12x12's.

I decided on a pine table instead of a desk as my PC won't be going through and I wasn't wanting loads of extra drawers either. Would have liked a bigger table but it will have to do, couldn't really fit anything larger in the car.

The three tier storage units behind are fabby. Bought then for only £10.00 each from Home Bargains and have masses and masses of stuff in them, and they fit well behind my craft table.

Left a sofa in too, thought I could sit a read my craft mags in the sun.

So manged to get all but a half dozen kits in, have left thenm in a cupboard in the Dining room for now.

Wonder how long it will stay this tidy and organised?

What a busy 6 weeks I have had its been non stop crafting, but not anything I was able to show on my blog.

I am on the DT for Crafty Catz, and have been making samples for Pamela's new CD which is to have it's first airing on Create & Craft on April 27th at 10am.It's called Got It Covered. I also had my SIL's 40th birthday last week and I made her a scrapbook of her children. Turned out lovely and she was so pleased with it so that just made all the effort worthwhile.

I am also in the process of making my rather large conservatory into a part craft room, as I have so outgrown the Dining room, so have lots of shelves to build and sorting out to do.

So as you see I have been busy,

Back to challenges though I have so missed them! Will see what I can come up with tomorrow, my rubber stamps and promarkers feel quite neglected
